Make sure the white side is on top, next find a piece on the bottom and make sure it’s an “edge piece.” If it’s a corner piece it will have three colours on it.After this move it along the bottom until you find its underneath the correct coloured center. After this move it to the top and you should have one of the 4 edge pieces for the white cross.Then just repeat this step until you have all the edges for the white cross.

Flip upside down

once you have solved the white cross make sure all of the side pieces match up as well.then you turn the cube upside down.After this you will need to know these sequences of 4 moves that will help you during the entire tutorial.to learn these 4 moves you will need to put your left thumb on the front and right thumb on the back then you repeat R,U,R’,U’ and try this on the left hand side as well.next you will have to look for a top corner with white on it then look at the other colours on it as well for example in the picture its white, blue, and red after this you have to look where it goes and since it is red, blue, and white it will go in the red, blue, and white centres.After this you have to insert it using the four moves from earlier.

After you insert the corner it should look something like this.

After all of these steps you should have the first “layer” solved and done
